## CRS LUX: Module Overview

This guide provides information about the Luxembourg specific extension of the CRS module of the TRSuite software package. It describes processes and procedures for importing and exporting CRS OECD XML 2.0 files compatible with the Luxembourg schema extensions.

A note on the amended CRS, state as of September 2026. TRSuite writes the Luxembourg format defined by circulaire technique ECHA n° 4 of 10 August 2020, which envelops the OECD CRS XML Schema 2.0. Those arrangements remain applicable until 31 December 2026.

For the amended CRS the Administration des contributions directes has already published what is needed: the Manuel d’utilisation NCD, which replaces circulaire ECHA n° 4, and the schema package CRS_LUX_V3.0.zip. Both apply from 1 January 2027, and a pre-validation environment for the new CRS 3.0 schema is announced for 12 October 2026 so that institutions can test their systems beforehand. Under the law of 27 March 2026 the first report to the ACD under the amended rules is due by 30 June 2027 for the 2026 tax year.

This release of TRSuite does not yet produce the new Luxembourg format; it covers reporting under circulaire ECHA n° 4. Please consult https://impotsdirects.public.lu/fr/echanges_electroniques/CRS_NCD.html for the current schema and manual, and contact support@section11.ch for the planned availability of schema 3.0 in TRSuite.

### Export control information

This distribution includes cryptographic software. The country in which you currently reside may have restrictions on the import, possession, use, and/or re-export to another country, of encryption software. BEFORE using any encryption software, please check your country's laws, regulations and policies concerning the import, possession, or use, and re-export of encryption software, to see if this is permitted. See http://www.wassenaar.org/ for more information.

TRSuite uses the Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA) and the Bouncy Castle libraries for handling de-/encryption.
